An easy and healthy homemade vegan ice cream recipe
This recipe is so simple that you will probably wonder why you never tried it before. For this easy homemade vegan ice cream recipe, you will only need three simple ingredients and a blender. I use Nutribullet which works fine when I make a smaller amount (for two people), however, if I want to make more, I would use a bigger blender.
Vegan ice cream ingredients:
- 3 frozen bananas (ripe and organic)
- 1-2 teaspoons of organic cocoa powder (unsweetened)
- 1/2 cup of organic almond milk

Peel the bananas, chop them into smallish chunks and freeze them overnight. Take them out of the freezer 5-10 minutes before you start making the ice cream. This will give enough time for the bananas to soften so the blender can do a better job.
Put the bananas into the blender, add the cocoa powder and the almond milk. Blend it all together for a short time (10-15 seconds) and check for consistency. Add more almond milk if you need to, and start blending it again for another 20 seconds to reach a creamy and smooth texture. Voila, there you have it.
